How Much CBD Oil Should I Take?

CBD (Cannabidiol) is a potent, non-psychoactive cannabinoid found in hemp oil. It is typically extracted from hemp plants. It is the most prevalent of over 80 different cannabinoids found in natural hemp, a cousin of the marijuana plant. What that means is although CBD is a component of marijuana, it does not cause you to become “high” per se. According to a report by the World Health Organization (WHO), "CBD does not show a clear impact of potential abuse or addiction to humans." CBD It is commonly used for its therapeutic properties. Cannabidiol is responsible for a wide-range of positive health benefits through its interaction with the body's own endocannabinoid system.
CBD can reduce symptoms associated with the following conditions:
- Insomnia and other sleep disorders.
- Mood disorders
- Chronic pain
- Cases that affect the immune system, such as cancer or HIV
So why are physicians hesitant towards using CBD for pain relief?
Despite the current wave of states that legalize marijuana for medical purposes, many doctors are reluctant to prescribe drugs such as CBD. This is for two reasons:
- Doctors cannot prescribe (recommend only) cannabis because there is no RDA recommended daily allowance () or universal dose for all people.
- Most medical schools do not treat CBD / cannabidiol treatment in their pharmacy courses (the drug study program focuses on patentable substances).
CBD does not have an official portion size.
Whether you are a beginner or an experienced user, it may be difficult to understand how CBD works and how to use it, especially as the medical cannabis industry is still relatively young and is one of the fastest growing sectors in the world right now. One of the most common questions of newcomers and experienced users is:
What is the best dose of the CBD?
Although there are many articles on the benefits of the CBD, there is little about the right dosage of the CBD. To increase confusion, unlike other supplements, the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) did not provide a recommended daily allowance (RDI) for the CBD, meaning that CBD has no formal dose.

So what is the optimal dosage of CBD?
There are many variables such as weight, metabolism, diet, environment, genetics, product consistency and global dose intake is impossible.
We wish we were able to provide the public with a mathematical calculation for the CBD dose, but it is not that simple. Estimates are very rough as it affects everybody differently.

Determining the best dose of the CBD usually depends on the following factors.
- Concentration: Concentration refers to the total amount of CBD in a particular product. Concentration is measured in milligrams (mg). There is no "correct" way to determine the optimal dose. The effective dose may range from a few milligrams of enriched CBD oil to one gram or more. In light of the data provided above, start with a small dose of CBD oil. especially if you have little or no experience with cannabis. Take a few small doses during the day and act accordingly. Use the same amount for several days. Monitor the effects and adjust the ratio or amount if necessary.
Hemp compounds have two-phase properties, which means that high and low doses of the same substance may have adverse effects. Small doses of cannabis tend to stimulate; large sedative doses. Too much THC, though not fatal, can increase anxiety and mood disorders. CBD oil has no harmful known side effects, but the excess amount of CBD may be less therapeutic than the moderate dose. "Less is more" is often the case with cannabis treatment.
